1. Eligibility and account access
You must be at least 18 years old (or the higher age required by your jurisdiction), legally capable of entering contracts, and not prohibited by law or sanctions programs from using BetNet. BetNet may request identity and compliance information at any time.
2. Nature of the service
BetNet is a prediction market platform where users create and join YES/NO markets. BetNet is not investment advice, brokerage advice, tax advice, legal advice, or fiduciary advice.
3. User-created markets and rewards
Eligible creators may create markets and receive creator rewards based on market class and settlement path: Class A and Class B markets generally provide up to 1% of total stake when not settled through arbitrage; Class B markets that resolve via arbitrage and Class C markets provide 0.5%, with the remaining allocation used to cover arbitration operations. 4. Verification tiers, limits, and funding
Your account may be assigned a verification tier with corresponding deposit, transfer, and exposure limits. Funding rails may include USD card/bank rails and USDC stablecoin, subject to jurisdiction, compliance checks, and operational availability. See Verification Tiers and Funding.
5. Settlement, disputes, and cancellations
BetNet may use automated and manual sources to settle outcomes. Disputed markets may enter community-assisted arbitration. In ambiguous or integrity-risk conditions, BetNet may cancel any market in any status and refund participants. See Arbitration and Dispute Resolution.
6. Risk disclosure and responsible betting
Betting involves substantial risk of loss. Bet only money you are prepared to lose. Losses can be total and rapid. Read Risk Disclosure and Responsible Betting.
7. Prohibited behavior
Prohibited acts include fraud, market manipulation, multi-account abuse, sanctions evasion, account sharing, payment fraud, misuse of APIs, malware distribution, and any unlawful activity. BetNet may suspend or terminate accounts and freeze related activity.
8. No warranty, limitation of liability, indemnity
Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. BetNet does not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation. You agree to indemnify BetNet for losses arising from your violations of these terms or applicable law.
9. Taxes and reporting
You are responsible for your own tax determination, reporting, and payment obligations. BetNet may request taxpayer information and may report information where legally required.
10. Changes to terms
BetNet may modify these terms at any time. Continued use after updates may require renewed acceptance.
